Avinell Roberts Tucker, age 86, of Arkadelphia died Friday, May 10, 2013 in Arkadelphia. She was born April 18, 1927 in Clark County Arkansas the daughter of William Jenus and Beulah Thomason Roberts. Avinell worked at Levi Straus Co. in Arkadelphia for over thirty years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Tucker and two sons, Jack and Larry Tucker.
Survivors are five sons, Butch Tucker of Arkadelphia, Charles Tucker and wife, Sherri of Sheridan, Randy Tucker of Curtis, William Tucker and wife, Kim of Bismarck and Darren Tucker; two daughters, Barbara Kinsey and husband, James of Edmond, Oklahoma, Paula Whitfield and husband, Gary of Bismarck; one brother, Bill Roberts of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Ruby Furr of Arkadelphia, Lavetta Collie of Bismarck; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, May 13th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Collie officiating. Burial will follow in Richwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
