Barbara Jean Baum

Barbara Jean Baum, 77, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 4, 2026.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was evident in all she did. She leaves behind the love of her life and husband of 59 years, Alton Leon Baum; her daughters, Tracy Jackson (Jody) and Mindi Polk (Brad), both of Beebe. She was a proud Mamaw to Danna Jackson, Brittany Worthington (Bradley), Brooke Jackson, Makayla Polk, and Braxton Polk. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Brent Worthington and Blake Worthington, and sister Sharon (Butch) Phillips of Beebe. Barbara was incredibly proud of her family and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, celebrating their accomplishments and sharing in their lives.

A woman of strong faith, Barbara was an active member of Harrison Chapel Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. Barbara enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She never turned down a bowl of ice cream, loved spending time with her beloved dog, Tucker, and found happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved most.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton (Buddy) and Evelena Sellers; son in law, Scrapp Fox and In-Laws Chris and Maxine Baum.

Her faith, kindness, loving spirit, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation is Sunday, June 7th from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe. Funeral service will be on Monday, June 8th at 2:00 PM at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church, 242 Harrison Chapel Rd, Beebe, with entombment at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe.
