Barbara Ann Bellott, age 85, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was born on September 16, 1940, in Hazen, Arkansas, to the late Edward William Dahm and Helen Ruth Dahm.
Barbara began her working life at the well-known Franke’s Cafeteria in downtown Little Rock at the young age of 17. Later, she worked for the Handleman Company, where she had the opportunity to meet many well-known artists, including Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson. A strong and determined Czech woman, Barbara raised four children on her own, working tirelessly to provide for her family. She was also a talented baker and cake decorator, known for both her skill and generosity.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bellott; her parents, Edward William and Helen Ruth Dahm; her siblings, Betty Jo Dahm, Emil Roy “Sonny” Dahm, and Charles “Charlie” Dahm; and her son, Daniel Allen Henley.
She is survived by her loving children, Carla (Sam) Baggett, Sheila Henley, and Michael (Sheryl) Henley. She leaves behind a large and cherished family, including her grandchildren: Samuel Baggett Jr., Brandi Brooks, Crystal (Brian) Jones, Rebekah (Evan) Kosloski, Samantha (Jason) Roberts, Aaron Baggett, Stephanie (Kevin) Marcom, Amber Henley, Brandon (Kori) Henley, Lauren Henley, and Tyler Henley. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Dahm; twenty-two great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild expected soon; and a host of other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, at 12:00 noon at Smith North Little Rock funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m.at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton, Arkansas.
Barbara will be remembered for her strength, her work ethic, her love for her family, and the care she showed to everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the many generations she leaves behind.
