Barbara Cloud Brown

Barbara Cloud Brown, 85, of North Little Rock passed away July 23, 2024. She was born Barbara Jean Simmons to the late Alice (Lewis) and Doyle Simmons, on January 14, 1939. Barbara was a graduate of Ole Main and a member of 47th Street Baptist Church. Over the years she worked as a secretary for Jacuzzi, Ashgrove Cement and Arkla Gas Companies. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Hubert Cloud; as well as all of her siblings: Margaret Robinson, Frank Simmons and Eddie Simmons. 

Survivors include her husband of 15 years, James Brown; three children: Greg Cloud, Michael Cloud and Teresa Cloud; two grandsons: Braye (Myra) Cloud and Jeremy (Kyle) Cloud; and six great-grandchildren: Hudson, Cole, Briggs, Lillyanna, Liam and Nash Cloud.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral at 2:00 PM, Monday July 29, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will begin at 3:30 PM at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway, AR.
