Barbara Jean Charles

Barbara Jean Charles was born September 25, 1943 and precede to heaven on February 4, 2023. Surrounded by her family.

Barbara was known to everyone as Nanny. Barbara leaves behind a husband JW (Bud) Charles, a daughter Rochelle Harvey and a son JW (Buddy) Charles and his wife Elizabeth Charles. Five grandchildren Susanne Hill (Jerrod), JW (Trey) Charles (Lauren), Hillary Jenkins (Blaine), Shelby Smith (TJ), and Gabrielle (Gabby) Hoffmann (Michael). Twelve great grandchildren DJ, Rosie, Charlie, Jaxon, Magnolia, Joe, Isabella, Wyatt, Sara, Annabelle, Wesley and Emily.

Barbara was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a compassionate friend. Barbara was brave, courageous and God fearing. She was also a devoted Christian loving the Lord. She was a member at Cross Covenant Church. Those that knew that they could call her day or night for a prayer or encouragement.

She was a friend to all.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Smith North Little Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
