Barbara Jean Hughes, 50, of North Little Rock, passed away May 27, 2007. She was born September 2, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ms. Hughes was employed as a ward clerk for Little Rock Veteran?s Administration Hospital for twenty-one years. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of North Little Rock and a 1974 graduate of Sylvan Hills High School.
Barbara is survived by her mother, Barbara Mayhan of Sherwood; one brother, James Mayhan of Sherwood; one sister, Debbie Blasco of Wauconda, Illinois; one aunt, Patsy Johnson of England; two uncles, Homer C. Tanner of Sherwood and John (Dorothy) Tanner of Sunland, California; eight nieces and nephews, Terri Blasco, Matthew Blasco, Michael Blasco, Jodie Reyes, Berto Reyes, Alex Reyes, Steven Reyes and Gabriella Reyes. She is preceded in death by her father, James E. Mayhan; grandparents, Homer C. Tanner, Sr. and Leona Tanner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled Veteran?s Association.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 31, 2007 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Pritchett officiating. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
