Barbara "Babb" Jackson age 78 of Manning, AR died Friday, July 13, 2007 at Baptist Health in Arkadelphia. She was born January 18, 1929 in Antoine, the daughter of Charlie and Effie Berry Price. She was a member of the Manning Fire Dept. and the Sparkman Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Jackson and one son James Douglas Jackson.
Survivors include one son John Dewey Jackson of Sparkman, three daughters Ann Pilgrim and Betty Holland of Manning and Kay Hartgrave of Rogers, AR, two brothers Clinton Price of Hot Springs and Cedric Price of Antoine, AR, one sister Betty Brown of Leesville, LA, twelve grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will 2 P.M. Sunday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donnie Sherrell officiating with burial in the Antoine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Manning Volunteer Fire Dept, 6407 West Hwy 8, Sparkman, AR 71763.
