Barbara Kaye Lolley

Barbara went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 30, 2024 at the age of 85.

A native of Alton, IL, she moved to Albuquerque, NM with her husband, Clint, and son, Mikel. After the birth of her daughter, Theba, the family moved to Scottsdale, AZ before settling in Little Rock. Barbara enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom while her children were in school. Later, her proudest professional role were the years that she spent as Executive Director of Little Rock’s Sales and Marketing Executives Association.

Barbara lived a simple life enjoying all of God’s creations. Her backyard garden became her sanctuary and the colorful variety of birds brought her great joy! Although, from cats to squirrels to spiders, every living thing was protected under her watch.

Frequent travels with her beloved sister, Faye, brought her some of her most treasured moments. From the frigid mountains of Alaska to the warm waters of St. Thomas, the Frohock sisters always had a bag packed and ready to go.

A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s altered her last decade on Earth. She never lost her focus and love for her heavenly Father. In fact, it became more intensified in a childlike manner. Even in her final days, she was professing her faith to her hospice caregivers, praying with a heart of gratitude.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Walter H. and Grace L. Frohock, sister Dorothy Faye Murray, and Clint Lolley.

Surviving Barbara are daughter, Theba Lolley of Little Rock; son, Mikel Lolley of Hilo, HI; and two nieces: Rhonda Bofman (Terry); and Karen Harvey (Robert), all of Albuquerque, NM.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15.

The family would like to thank Alzheimer’s Arkansas. Barbara and Theba found them to be a lifeline throughout the challenging Alzheimer’s journey. To honor Barbara’s life, please consider a donation to www.alzark.org.
