Barbara Pifer
Barbara Pifer, age 77 of Little Rock passed away June 10, 2013. She was born on July, 23, 1935 in Wetumka, Oklahoma and was the daughter of George and Ada Hirrill.
Barbara retired from Siemens after over twenty-seven year of service, she was a member of the Cole Mission Church and enjoyed reading books under a tree, she loved ice cream and raising her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband S.R. Pifer, an infant son James Solomon, her parents, four sisters and many other family members and friends.
Survivors include her brother George Edward Hirrill (Rochelle) of Greenbrier; daughters Melissa Irvin (Haney) of Mayflower, Ada Ivey of East End, Belinda Wake (David) of Bauxite, Tammy Haggard (Lewis) of Little Rock, Glenda Ashley of Little Rock; sons Buddy Pifer of Conway and Tom Red (Terri) of Sheridan; twenty grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 5: 00 p.m. until the service time at 7:00 p.m. both at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock.
