Barbara M. Randolph, “Sissy,” 72, passed away on March 5, 2026. She was born in San Juan Capistrano, California on December 4, 1953, and grew up in Clovis, New Mexico.
She graduated from Clovis High School in 1973. She met David while he was serving in the Air Force, and they were married on January 6, 1975. During their early years together, they lived in Merced, California, and Levelland, Texas, before finally settling in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Barbara was a Deaconess at the Little Rock Seventh Day Adventist Church and began teaching children at church in 1972. Teaching children about Jesus was very important to her. She often said they need to learn when they are young because children are our future. Friends and family will always remember that she was in church every week.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, David Randolph; mother, Nadine Duncan; her father; Randy Randolph of Phoenix; and Danny and Beverly Randolph of Montgomery, Alabama.
She is survived by Patty Jouett of Levelland, Texas; John and Cheryle Jouett of Clovis, New Mexico; Linda Hester of Bayfield, Colorado; and her honorary children, Angie Mears (Larry) of Paron, Arkansas and Sean Clouse (Bobbi) of Sherwood, Arkansas.
She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews: Mistry Campbell of Levelland, Texas; Wendy Slaughter of Boise, Idaho; Jamie Perez of Ropesville, Texas; Danielle Fitzgerald of Levelland, Texas; Kenny Knight of Great Falls, Montana; Nicholas Parrish of Clovis, New Mexico; Jackie Parrish of Knoxville, Tennessee; Kimberlee Yarborough of Bayfield, Colorado; Arrica Yarborough of Bayfield, Colorado; Kristy Jouett of Clovis, New Mexico; and Jason Jouett of Portales, New Mexico.
Barbara will be remembered for her strong faith, her dedication to her church, and the love she shared with her family. She touched many lives, especially the children she taught about Jesus over the years. Her memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Little Rock Seventh Day Adventist Church (8700 N. Rodney Parham Road) with a service following at 3:00 PM. Barbara will be buried next to David at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
