Barbara Anne Rogers passed away March 21, 2011 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Barbara was born August 11, 1945 to Johnny Stanley and Claudia Lorraine Gates. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and greatchildren.
Barbara is survived by four sons Ritchie Don Groves, Michael Dewayne Rogers, Johnny Fred Rogers, and Robert Eugene Rogers; threed aughters Monica Lynn Groves, Cheryl Anne Groves, and Kimberly Gail Rogers Hoyt. one sister Gail Wasson and her husband Joe; thirty-three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and two nieces Joyce Thompson and Sharon Taylor as well as a host of friends and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her Husband - Jimmy Fred Rogers; her parents and one sister Deanna Kay Stanley.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at Peaceful Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will be in Butler Cemetery in Mabelvale. Pallbearers will be Joseph White, Douglas Hoyt Jr, Robbie Rogers, David Davidson, Leon Davidson and Mark Blunt. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Rogers, Mike Rogers, and Richie Don Groves.
The family respectfully requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expense. Arrangements are under the direction of Peaceful Haven Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street Benton, Arkansas, 501-778-7100.
