Barbara Skinner, 69, of Kensett, Arkansas, was born December 15, 1939, at Opal, Arkansas to Elijah Henry and Nettie Catherine Kellems Fairfield, and passed away July 12, 2009. She made a home for those who didn't have a home and was a really loving mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carthel Skinner.
Barbara is survived by her children; Becky Lawson (Dickie) of Kensett, Loran Shaffer (Connie) of Kensett, David Skinner (Misty) of Texas, Sandra Bradley (Radar) of Texas, Carthel Skinner, Jr., (Wendy) of Kensett; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and one brother, Herbert Fairfield (Sandy) of Pima, Arizona.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carthel Skinner.
