Becky Westerfield

February 3, 1964 — February 11, 2024

With a sad and heavy heart, we announce that Becky Aline Berry Westerfield went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 11, 2024.

Becky was born February 3, 1964 in Shreveport, LA., to Wanda Joyce Allison Berry and Bobby Von Berry.

Even from a young age, Becky shared her mother's thirst for knowledge. Becky graduated from Stonewall High School in Stonewall, LA., in May of 1982. Even after attending Arkansas Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree, Becky continued her education and received an Arkansas Nursing Home Administrator's license.

Becky met the love of her life in 1994, when she married attorney, Steve Westerfield. She was the mother of three adopted children, Callie, Patrick, and Aubrey. Becky was a lifelong Baptist and later became a member of the First Nazarene Church of Hot Springs.

Becky had an amazing sense of family and a love for history, which led her to research her family's genealogy and to become a long-time member of Hot Springs Chapter 80 of the United Daughter's of the Confederacy.

Becky had many passions, and her love of life was rivaled only by her love of travel. It was her love of history and travel that led Becky to accumulate a collection of antebellum dresses. She attended antebellum balls with her husband, Steve, during his Civil War reenactments, and while Becky didn't take part on the battlefield, she could always be found gliding across the dance floor with her husband.

Becky Aline Berry Westerfield was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Joyce Allison Berry, and her brother, Bobby Von Berry, Jr.

Becky is survived by her husband, Stephen Westerfield, of Hot Springs, AR, and 3 adopted children Callie, Patrick, Aubrey, and two grandchildren.

Becky's final resting place will be Oak Grove Cemetery in the Sunshine community.

Persons honoring Becky Westerfield as pallbearer will include Kelly Westerfield, Mike Hardage, Ralph Benkowski, George Clark, and others.

The family would like to express a special thanks to all of Becky's caregivers who provided for her during her extended last illness.
