Benita Martin

Benita Kelley Martin (Nina), 48 of Sherwood, loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, was called to a peaceful sleep on December 29, 2007. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Mike; her daughter Brittany and boyfriend Zak of Sherwood; and sisters, Beverly (Bill) Dennis of Bryant, and Debbie (Chris) Neumann of North Little Rock; her brother Mickey Kelley of Mayflower; and Precious and Honeybunny, as well as a host of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elnora Kelley.
Benita was a graduate of Mount St. Mary and St. Vincent Nursing School, and spent her life serving the needs of others, most recently as a nurse at the UAMS Multiple Myeloma Clinic. She has touched so many lives with her service as a nurse, and will be so missed by all who knew her. Benita was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
A vigil service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
