Benjamin James Prime, 31, of Little Rock, passed away December 24, 2012. He was born in Little Rock to Lennox Prime and Jennifer McCourty-Prime, and was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Christopher Lennox Prime; sisters, Stacie Prime-Wright (Michael), Shaunelle Campbell-Bennett (Travis), and Laurel Walters; paternal family, Kendric Prime, Martin Prime and Dave Prime; maternal family, Vincent McCourty (Louise), Alvin McCourty, Althea McCourty, Heather Williams (Levy), Elvin Williams (Michelle) and Wayne Williams (Sophia).
A graduate of Catholic High School where he played football, and Oklahoma State University at Okmulgee, he was employed by Taziki's Greek Foods. He loved to cook and loved all kinds of music.
The Rosary will be held on Friday, December 28 at 6:00 p.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. L. Warren Harvey on Saturday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel, followed by interment at Elmlawn Cemetery.
