Benjamin Sootoo, 66, Pasadena, Texas, born July 18, 1942 and went to with his Lord and Savior on July 1, 2009, after a brief illness. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Brown and Root and Austin Industries.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his wife, Diane; his parents; two brothers, Lincoln and Marion Sootoo and a sister Alice Joe.
He is survived by his wife and soul mate of eighteen years, Carolyn; his daughter, Lisa Davis and her husband, Mike; stepchildren, Teressa Morrissey and Brian McCurrin; grandchildren, Kita, Christina, Michael, Cody, Jocelyn, Casondra and Nathan; two sisters Alyne and Emma Lee; one brothers, Henry and numerous nieces and nephews. The family received friends Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Pasadena Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life was held Monday, July 06, 2009, at Memorial Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas.
