Bernice Watson

Bernice Watson, 97, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born August 19, 1914 at Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, to John and Maude Fowlkes, and she died Tuesday, September 27, 2011. She was a loving mother and a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Freeland Watson; daughter, Betty McKay; son, Lawrence Freeland Watson, Jr.; and five siblings. Bernice is survived by two daughters, Reva Neideck and husband Neil of Searcy, Eva Hall and husband Edward of Beebe; one son, Tommy Watson and wife Alice of Romance; son-in-law Kenneth McKay of Romance; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Romance Church of Christ, with burial in Romance Cemetery.
