Bernie Benton

Bernie Benton, age 93, passed from this earth to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Preceding Bernie in death were his wife of 71 years, Pauline, and his only son, James Benton. He is survived by his daughters; Marie (Billy) Webb of Whitney, TX, and Lynda Pickard of Cabot, AR. Bernie is also survived by 6 grand children and 11 great grand children.

Bernie's greatest love was his farm and fishing. He could tell some stories about both anytime he could get anyone to listen. He was also a WW II veteran, of which he was very proud. Dad, we will miss you!

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
