Betsy Bowers

Betsy Bowers, 87, passed away on October 26, 2022. Betsy was born on September 4, 1935 to the late Benjamin Murchison and Carrie (Graham) Murchison.

Betsy was devoted in her faith. She always went to church whenever the doors were open. Betsy continually studied the Bible and was a Bible study leader since 1969. She took all her grandchildren to Bible study with her. Betsy was a breath of fresh air, always lit up a room whenever she entered, and never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved them all, especially her grandchildren. Betsy was always dressed nicely and had to have her nails and hair done. She loved animals especially bunnies, chickens, her favorite ducks, (Quack- Quack) and (Whack- Whack), and cats.

Betsy is preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin Murchison and Carrie (Graham) Murchison; and son, Jeff Bowers.

Betsy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gerald Bowers; son, Don Bowers; special daughter-in-law, Judy Bowers; grandchildren: Josh Bowers, Rebekah Bowers, and Jeffery Bowers; and many family members and friends that will all miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on October 31 at 10:00 AM at Pine Bluff Cemetery, 2122 W Pullen Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601.
