Later in life she delighted in playing the piano for seniors, most often at the UAMS Institute on Aging.

Other interests included playing bridge, gardening and spending time with friends and family - especially her grandchildren, Holly Ingle and Emily Anderson.

Prior to retirement Mrs. Christian worked as a live-in companion for the elderly.
