Betty Sue Corzine Hamilton of North Little Rock passed away March 15, 2017. She was born October 13, 1940 in Townley, Alabama to the late Milton H. and Charlene (Lammers) Corzine.
She was preceded in death by husband of 60 years, John Walter Hamilton and one brother, Milton H. (Sonny) Corzine, Jr.
Survivors include four children, Timothy (Cheryl) Hamilton, Lisa C. Hamilton, Scott (Kim) Hamilton and John C. Hamilton; grandchildren, Jessica Hamilton, Amber Hamilton, John Cody Vela, Sarah Vela, Alexander Hamilton, Grace Anne Hamilton, Christopher Hamilton and Mason Hamilton; two great-grandchildren; Three siblings, Mary Jo (Jaun) White, Judy Hoggard and John (Kathy) Corzine; and extended family members.
Betty had an amazing green thumb, strong constitution, meticulous housekeeper, quick wit, avid reader with an incredible vocabulary. She loved to cook, sew and fish. She was a good wife and mother and loved the Lord.
A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Sherwood First Baptist Church. Entombment will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
