Mayflower, AR Age 84 went to be with the Lord at her home on July 19, 2020. She was born June 30, 1936 the daughter of Claude and Maggie Smith in Birmingham, AL.
Betty was predeceased in death by parents Claude & Maggie Smith; daughter Onna Sue Pennington; granddaughterâs Megan Beard and Carrie Phillips; brotherâs Buddy Smith and Herman Smith; sister Evelyn Scurlock; husbands William Pennington, Victor Treloar and Billy Parrot.
Betty is survived by her loving children Jackie (Carlton) Gray of Mayflower, Reba (Dennis) Helms of Mayflower, Russell (Sue) Pennington of Greenbrier Sherry Phillips of Jacksonville , Victor (Mary) Treloar of Dâiberville, MS, Jennifer Wyrick of WA, Michael Brown of Sherwood; sisters, Billie Beersdorf of Montgomery, AL, Faye Andrews of Montgomery, AL and Edith Shaw of Lipscomb, AL; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Betty was a strong Christian woman, strong willed and hard headed. She enjoyed music and her hobbies were crafting and sewing. She was loved dearly by her family and she loved them to the moon and back. Betty will be greatly missed.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday July 22, 2020 from 1pm to 3pm at the Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 3pm
