Betty Killough

Listen to Obituary

Betty Killough, age 94, passed from this life on May 17, 2026, and entered into the eternal rest she so faithfully trusted God to provide. She was born on December 23, 1931, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Aubra Gatewood and Gladys Gatewood. Betty lived a life rooted in unshakeable faith, and those who knew her will remember a woman whose love for the Lord was not merely spoken but lived in every season of her days. She was a devoted member of Agape Church in Little Rock, where she worshipped and drew strength from her community of faith.

When Betty lost her husband, Grant Killough, early in life, she was left to raise five children on her own. Rather than falter, she placed her complete trust in God, never doubting that He would bring her through whatever lay ahead. With great determination and quiet courage, she went to work at Townsell-Hill, where she would remain for over 40 years before retiring, a testament to her steadfast character and tireless work ethic. Her life was a living testimony that a mother’s love, anchored in faith, can move mountains, and raise a family through any storm.

Betty’s legacy is one of grace, perseverance, and unwavering devotion to God, to her family, and to the life He placed before her. She leaves behind a family forever shaped by her courage and her faith.
