Betty O. Knittig, 77, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007. She was born October 15, 1929 in Guy, Arkansas to William and Mary Elizabeth Weidower Sims. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her husband, Aloys V. Knittig, of North Little Rock; sister, Juanita Ward, of Keo; sons, John Barry Lyon, of Florida and William Gary Lyon, of Texas; daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Mahoney, of Texas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Montine Garrison; and three brothers, Harold, Waylon and Dalton Sims.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
