She is survived by her children, David Strickland and Laura Thomas (Leewood); grandchild, Mikalya Thomas; siblings, Stanley Townsend, Sheila Townsend, Donna Seavers (Gary), Judy Townsend, and Vicky Townsend and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Maxwell; sisters, Phyllis Ballentine and Bobbie Forbush, and brother, Billy Townsend.
