Betty Sue Merritt, 59, of Little Rock, wife of Michael Lynn Merritt, Sr. died Tuesday, May 12, 2009.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Merritt, Jr. and wife Shawn and David Bradley Merritt both of Little Rock; one grandson, Michael Alan Merritt; five sisters, Lillian Skinner of North Little Rock, Ruby Davis of Little Rock, Shirley Warner of Mabelvale, Carolyn Newsom of Arkadelphia and Alice Heifner of Little Rock; two brothers Charles Nichols of Bryant and Danny Nichols of Hensley.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Charles (Pete) and Marie Nichols.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home by Pastor Brady Ward. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery in Saline County. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
