Betty Morrison, age 72, of Friendship, died Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Arkadelphia. She was born August 28, 1940 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ira and Winnie Durham Miller. Betty was a Jehovah's Witness and a homemaker.
Survivors are her husband of fifty-five years, Hulen Morrison; three sons, Terry Morrison and wife, Susan of Redfield, Arkansas, Mark Joel "Joe" Morrison of the home, Stacey Morrison and wife, Tammy of Friendship; her mother, Winnie Miller of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two sisters, Martha Saska and husband, Phil of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Kathy McKinzie and husband, Dan of Phoenix, Arizona; six grandsons, three granddaughters, and four great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 7th at Kingdom Hall in Caddo Valley with David Overturf officiating. Burial will follow in Gilchrist Cemetery at Friendship. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
