Betty Smith

Betty Smith, age 82, of Daisy, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She was born on May 4, 1930 in Linden, Texas, the daughter of Homer Ray May and Oradell Womack May-Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith; her parents; and her step-father, Claude Mason. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Bubba Dickerson of Zapata, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Gayle Smith of Eugene, Oregon; four grandchildren and their spouses, Chase and Dawn Brown, Brett and Jennifer Brown, Casey and Victoria Corder and Luca Smith; five great-granddaughters; and countless cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Services will be held on August 14, 2012, at 10:00 AM, in the East Funeral Home Chapel in Texarkana, Texas.
