Betty Weekley
Bettye June Godfrey Weekley, 86, of Little Rock, passed away June 22, 2013. Born in Spearman, Texas to William L. and Iris Lackey Godfrey, she was a purchasing agent in the chemical industry. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 65 years.
Preceded in death by her husband, George Heber Weekley, Jr. and three brothers, Horace, Carl and George Godfrey, she is survived by her sons, David Weekley and wife, Bonnie of Little Rock and Jerry Stewart and wife, Fern of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Austin Stewart and wife, Sharon of Columbus, Ohio, Nate Stewart of Gunnison, Colorado, Paige Stewart of Los Angeles, California, David Paul Weekley of Greensboro, North Carolina and Samuel George Weekley of Little Rock; great-grandson, Oliver Stewart; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Troy Hunt.
