Beulah Vansickle
Beaulah Vansickle, 97 of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on December 15, 2012. She was born October 14, 1915 in Spiro Lake, OK to the late Frank and Mary Lester. The eldest of 8 children it was her life's work to raise and care for her family, she was Granny and Aunt Doodie to many generations of children.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George Vansickle. Her son Troy Hicks Jr, grandson Micheal Hicks. Sisters Estel Melton and Leola Yarberry. Brothers Earl Lester, Vestel (Sunny) Lester, William Lester and Thomas Lester.
She is survived by her Sister Lola . 5 Grandchildren, Raymond Hicks, Vickie Philips, Brenda Hardin, David Hicks and Deborah Garibay. 12 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, December 21, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m. both at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock, with burial following at Little Rock National Cemetery.
