Bevela Brenda Quick, 75, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2016. She was born July 21, 1940 to H. B. Slaughter and Madlyn Slaughter, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Fred Quick, daughter, Shannon Quick, sister, Bertha Rumback, brother, Murry Slaughter and grandson, Spencer Brewer.
She is survived by her loving children, Wendy Brewer, Patrick Quick, Tracy Ferrell, Jason Quick and Tammy Quick; brother, Bruce Slaughter; grandchildren, Tiffany Lucas, Michael Quick, Josh Ferrell, Christopher Brewer, Jordan Geiger, Perry Quick, Annie Quick, Ethan Quick and Arial Quick; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday, January 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services are Friday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Western Hills United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 204 Executive Ct., #301, Little Rock, AR 72205.
