Beverly "GaGa" Ann Poe, 77, of Little Rock, died Saturday, March 16, 2013. Beverly was born December 13, 1935, in Little Rock to John and Thelma Baxter. She graduated from Little Rock High School in 1953 and was a graduate of Little Rock Junior College. She was a member of Westover Hills Presbyterian Church. Known to many as GaGa, there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook, work crossword puzzles, and was very talented with a sewing machine. She was the best at throwing parties and lived for the holidays. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and beloved daughter, Allison Paige Poe.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Earl Poe; sons Jeff (Monica)Poe and David Poe; 3 grandchildren Michelle (Jason) Stewart, Chris Poe and Andrew Poe; 3 great grandchildren, Emily Stewart, Evan Stewart and William Stewart; sister, Wilma (Edward) Abel of Hot Springs; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family expresses their appreciation to Hospice Home Care for the excellent care provided. Beverly's funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20th at Little Rock Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Kuner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care, 2200 S. Bowman Rd., Little Rock, AR 72211 or Kaleidoscope of Caring Foundation, Attn: Donations, P.O. Box 21697, Hot Springs, AR 71903.
