Beverly Diaz

Beverly Sue Diaz, 81, of North Little Rock passed peacefully on to be with her Lord and Savior, November 18, 2017. She was the daughter of predeceased Dr. Walter Myers Smith and Allene Boyd Smith. She was a member of Saint John's Latin Mass Community Catholic Church. She attended U of A in Fayetteville and received her psychology degree in Chicago and MSW at UCLA. She worked in the ER at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles as a Psychiatric Social Worker. She was also an actress with bit parts in Hollywood, TV, and performed at the local Weekend Theater. She loved to travel and spoke Spanish and Russian. She enjoyed spending her days working out at the athletic club, reading avidly, and cuddling her cats. She had an infectious laugh that would fill the room.
She will be missed by her sister, Barbara Luna; brothers, Dr. Kirk Smith (Barbara) and Dr. Mark Smith (Carmen); cousins, Donald and Dian Gephardt; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Oksana Cartwright; and her beloved Bamcat and Onyx.
Memorials could be made to any animal shelter.
