Beverly Jean (Loftin) Harrison, 76, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away December 21, 2021. Beverly was born January 25, 1945 to the late Jack and Sarah (Davis) Loften.
Beverly loved the beach and often called it her “happy place”. She was a great mom and housewife and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Beverly enjoyed cooking and was known for frequently making deviled eggs and her family always looked forward to it. Beverly was always at the school volunteering. She was a member of Alta Woods Methodist Church in Jackson Mississippi for most of her life and was very strong in her Christian faith. Beverly’s house was where all the kids always wanted to hang out. She loved Mississippi State football and baseball. Beverly went to junior college World Series in 1996 with the Meridian Community College. She worked at AmerCorps on the campus of Meridian Community College where she helped and tutored children and adult in learning to read, or to read better. It was at Meridian where Beverly found her love of baseball. She and her good friend, Kathy, became baseball moms to the team.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Loftin and Sarah (Davis) Loftin.
Beverly is survived by her son, John Harrison (Gipsy); daughter, Stephanie Howell (Grady); grandchildren: William, Gavin, Michael, and Jekkob; sisters, Pat Smith (Layton) and Kathy Hayes (Ray); brother, James Loftin (Vivien); as well as a host of other family members and friends that will miss her dearly.
