Billie Lou Berry

Billie Lou Berry, of Hot Springs went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1935, to the late Robert S. Hampton and Marjorie E. Mathis-Hampton.
 
 Billie is preceded in death by her husband Palmer Gene Berry, her parents, brother Robert Junior Hampton, sister Betty Jo Wright, granddaughter Melissa Miller, and great-great-granddaughter Makenzie Potts.
 
 Throughout her life, Billie's proudest accomplishment was building a loving family. She had a deep passion for cooking and baking and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune in her spare time. She enjoyed watching Hummingbirds and butterflies. She truly lived her life by God’s grace and wisdom. 
 
 She is survived by her sons Garry (Donna) Berry of Malvern, Larry (Sally) Berry, Ron (Jennifer) Berry, Steve (Jessica) Berry all of Hot Springs. Daughter Cathy (Thomas) Perkins, of Carlisle, and Donna (Ben) Miller of Jessieville. She is also survived by her sisters Eva Jean Gullet, Bennie Sue Nixon, Shirley Ann Harper, Ruth Wetherington, Margie Sorrell, Norma Faye Smith, and Sandra Lavon Terry. Additionally surviving is her brother Jimmy Ray Hampton.
 
 A Visitation service will be held on April 11, 2024, at the Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place the following day on April 12 at the same location from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with Bro. Silas Mattingly officiating. 
 
 Pallbearers are: Gary S. Berry, Michael Perkins, Lucas Perkins, Matt Berry, Andrew Diehl, Jake Dettmering. 
 
 Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Berry, Justin Berry, and all of her grandchildren.
 
 Burial will be in Lowe Cemetery.
