Billie Jean Faulks, 78, of Mesquite, Texas, born September 11, 1930, to Elmer Lynn McDaniel and Vesta "Beck" LaFerney Thurman and passed away November 4, 2008, after an extended illness. Billie and her husband, Harold Faulks, both grew up in Arkansas and moved to Mesquite, Texas to start their life journey together. She is preceded in death by her parents. Billie is survived by her husband of sixty years, Harold Faulks; one daughter Sandy McClendon and husband Kirk; two grandchildren, David and James; two sisters, LaVerne Chitwood of Little Rock and Hilton Dugger of Beebe; three brothers, John McDaniel of Cordova, Tennessee, Tom McDaniel of Cabot and Jim Thurman of Kentucky.
