Billie Ruth Moore

Billie Ruth Moore, age 92, of Newhope, AR, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

She was born February 28, 1933 in Newhope, AR to Barney and Rosa Lee Fox. She was married to C.J. Moore on October 13, 1951. She attended Newhope Free Will Baptist Church.

Billie found joy in the simplest pleasures of life such as walks in the woods and games with family and friends, She loved sharing home cooked meals and had many fish fries, sometimes for a few and at other times for a house full. She loved the faithful companionship of a dog. Children definitely brought her joy and she became close to those she kept, especially her grandchildren. Billie always had a childlike outlook on life. She was deeply cherished and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Roger and Judy Moore of Newhope, AR; her brother Jerry and Beverly Fox of Newhope, AR; granddaughters Laura and Robert Scott of Sour Lake, TX, Tarynne and Scott Martin of Cabot, AR and Tessa and Lee Campbell of Hot Springs, AR; great grandchildren Sabryna Scott, Ethan and Rocio Campbell, Steven and Sarah Scott, Kalynne Martin, Haley Campbell and Allison Martin; a very special bonus son, Russell and Melody Ankrom and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Whisenhunt, Mark Story, Brian Fox, Scott Martin, Lee Campbell, Robert Scott and Steven Scott.

Visitation will be held prior to services on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
