Billie Short

Billie Jo Short of North Little Rock passed away December 25, 2020. She was born August 22, 1933 in Tuckerman, Arkansas. She was a member of Levy Baptist Church and retired from North Little Rock Utilities.

She  is survived by; son Michael (Bessie) Hampton of England; daughter Donna (Carroll) Hardin of Conway; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother, Troy “Sonny” Jones of Tuckerman; and several extended family members and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marvin Short; daughter Shirley Short Halferty; sister, Tommie Goodnight; and a grandson, Tracy Hampton.

Memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church, 3501 Pike Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.

Viewing will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Funeral will be at 1:30 PM  Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Grissard Cemetery, El Paso, Arkansas.
