Billie Sue Reed

Billie Sue Reed (Spears), was born July 31, 1941, in Little Rock, Arkansas, daughter of James William Spears and Catherine Louella Spears (Evans), passed away peacefully the morning of Sunday, October 25, 2026. She was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Spears, her father James Spears, her adoptive mother Melba Spears, her sister Patricia Loftin (Loren), her brother Michael Spears (Margie), and her brother Terry Spears. She is survived by her brother Steven Spears (Lee Ann), her brother Thomas Spears (Ada), along with nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will continue to carry her memory forward.

Throughout her life, Billie was always a very active member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She also enjoyed arts & crafts, sewing, needlepoint, painting, and gardening. More recently, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles with her friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, North Little Rock, AR, 72114. Visitation will begin at 9:30am, followed by the service at 10:30am.
