Billie Vint

Billie Dee McGhee Vint, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015. She was born October 30, 1927 in Smithville, Arkansas to the late Ruel and Mattie Sauls McGhee.
She was a member of 47th Street Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for over 40 years. She was employed with Westinghouse/Phillips Lamp Division where she was secretary to the Plant Manager for 40 years, attended Poughkeepsie School system from grades 1-8, Cave City High School for her 9th grade year and Little Rock Central High from 1943 before graduating in 1946.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Bobby" Vint, III (Barbara); daughter, Rebecca Calhoun (Kenneth) all of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, Gabriel Vint, Eli Vint, Zachary Vint, Robert "Hoop" Vint IV and Courtney Calhoun Nehus; and great-grandchildren, Rachel Vint, Savannah Grace Nehus, and Cooper William Nehus; her sister-in-law Virginia (Vint) Driver, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Vint, Jr., and sisters, Nina McGhee Redding and Ruelene McGhee Nafa.
A graveside service will be held 9:00 a.m., Wednesday at Casa Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
