Billy Joe Brown age 79, of Mt. Vernon, TX, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014.. He was born October 6, 1935 the son of Doyle and Hilda Dunn Brown. He was retired from Reynolds Metals Co. and of Baptist Faith.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Joe "B J" Brown II and his wife Camille of Mt Vernon, Buddy Brown of Jackson, MS, one daughter, Tressa Stenlake of Massena, NY. one brother, L. A. Brown of Norman, OK, six grandchildren, Olivia, Isaac, and Ashley Brown, Michael and Nicole Stenlake and Tiffany Daniel.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, November 15th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia, AR with Scott Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1 PM till service time Saturday at the funeral home.
