Billy Ray Smith

Billy Ray Smith, age 73, of Pearcy passed away on April 2, 2026. He was born November 26, 1952 in Garland County, AR to Orville Smith and Leona Barnett. 

Other than his parents, Billy Ray is preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Wayne Smith and sister, Schrell Qualls.

Billy Ray was a proud graduate of Lake Hamilton High School and continued his eduacation at both Garland County Community College and Texas A&M-Arlington.  He was of the Church of God faith. 

He is survived by his lovong wife Darlene Smith, to whom he married April 19, 1974; son, Jonathan M. Curtis Smith (Kimestry Martin); daughters, Marcella Smith (Chris Wrinkle), Billi Ann Duck (Dewayne), and Michelle Ann Guzman (Colin); grandchildren and great grandchildren, Cody Duck, Cory Duck, Michael Pizza, Walker Andrew Smith Yates, Raelyn Annabelle Guzman, Nora Arias, Blakley Hipp, Delilah Duck, Ryker Duck and Magnolia Duck; briother, Mike Smith (Miranda); sisters, Sue Thompson and Debra Lynn Radley; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends. 

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 6, 2026, with a service immediately following at 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs.

Pallbearers include Bob Edwards, Tracy Shelton, Cody Castle, Brad Miller, Jason Miller, Josh Miller, and Travis Smith, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Blackerby, Cody Duck, Cory Duck, Mike Pizza, and Michael Pizza.
