Billy Jerold Smith, Jr. “Jerry”, 57, of Conway, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2017.
He was born August 29, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Billy J. Smith, Sr. and Wendelene Efird Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kenneth Raymond Smith, Sr.
He is survived by his brother, Michael (Conway), his sister, Cherie Flowers (McKinney, Texas), son, Billy, III (Conway), daughter Ashley (Darrell) Jones (Rose Bud, Arkansas); three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He worked at Acxiom for over 25 years, was a graduate of CHS (1978) and UCA. He was a proud member of the Order of the Arrow and Eagle Scout (Troop 392). He was an avid softball player and loved to travel.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church Conway.
Visitation will be Friday, December 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and services on Saturday, December 23, at 10:00 a.m., both at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, Conway. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery in Conway, Arkansas.
