Billy R. Ward, 78, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007. He was an Engineer with Arkansas Power and Light and a member of First Baptist Church of Gravel Ridge.
He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Blackburn and husband, Chad and Kara ?Kim? Ward, all of Jacksonville; mother of Mr. Ward?s children, Joyce Ward; grandson, Garrett Ward; brother, Bobby Ward, of Malone, Florida; and sister, Sue Head, of Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Alva Ward and brother, Charles Ward.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Gravel Ridge. Burial will be private. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
