Billy Wayne Jones, 72, was born on October 2, 1951 to Opal and William "Bill" Jones in Glenwood, Arkansas and Died June 12, 2024.
On June 1, 1973 he married Sharon Vaughn.
He was Preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Wanda Jones and his great grandson, Asher Lane.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his son, Michael Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his daughter and son-in-law, Rebekah and Matthew Lane of West Springfield, Massachusetts; a grand-daughter, Madison Jones of Hot Springs; four grandsons, Landon Jones of Hot Springs, Jake Lane, Troy Lane, and Jordan Lane of West Springfield, Massachusetts; a great-grandson, Zeke Lane of West Springfield, Massachusetts; 3 sisters, Pauline Kitchens and Edna Kizer of Dierks, Arkansas and Patricia Mullins of Kirby, Arkansas.
He retired from Bean Lumber Co. in 2010. He was a Christian and board member of Unity Full Gospel Church.
Services held by Bro. Michael Howell and Bro. Robert Howell. Visitation will be Monday June 17 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 11:00 a.m. and no graveside afterward. Cremation arrangements handled by Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood.
