Blanche Irene McMahan age 100 of Friendship died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in San Bernardino, California. She was born October 19, 1910 in Friendship, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Tessie Baxter Garrett. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Her husband, Oliver West McMahan, one daughter, Charline Elizabeth Watson, one sister and three brothers preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Jean Short; one brother, Warren Edward Garrett; two sisters, Dorothy G. Smith and Julie Benavides; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
