Blenda J. Wilson

Surrounded by family, Blenda Wilson, peacefully passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026.

She retired after over 30 years of service from North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department. She served as a Recreation Aide advancing to Director for North Heights Recreation Center on Allen Street for over 10 years; and later wasf Director for the Main Community Center on Willow and Pershing for over 20 years.

She was a fantastic mother to Doug Wilson, and Paige Zautcke; sister to, Shirley Anderson; and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to her many grandchildren and great-grandchidren.

Blenda was preceded in death by her parents: Virgil and Doris Kuykendall and two sisters.

Blenda was a member of Levy Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She will be deeply missed.
