Bobbie Dickinson Boyd of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 91. She was born on August 20, 1932, to Robert and Nora Dickinson in Dewitt, Arkansas. She was a 1950 graduate of Dewitt High School. She was a member of Westview Missionary Baptist Church.

She worked one year as a receptionist for Arkansas Power and Light Company in Dewitt after graduation. She then worked 26 years as an accountant/bookkeeper for Wallace Baker Chevrolet of Beebe and WW Ford of Searcy. She received many awards, certificates of honor, and gifts for her accounting performance. In 1965, she was selected as one of the most outstanding young businesswomen of America.

In 1951, she was married to her high school sweetheart, Lionel Boyd, who after 39 years of marriage, preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, Robert and Nora Dickinson of Searcy; her son, Keith Boyd of Searcy; one sister, Doris Clark of North Little Rock; and one brother, Elder Leroy Dickinson of Searcy.

She is survived by one daughter, LeNell (Butch) Keith of Beebe; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Boyd of Searcy; three sisters, Glenda Dickinson of Searcy, Melba Richardson of Searcy, and Mary Bures of Nashville, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Shannon (Scott) Wooldridge of Beebe, and Kari (Aaron) Holloway of Beebe; two grandsons, Kurt Boyd and Kody Boyd of Searcy; 8 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Westview Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, Arkansas followed by Graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
