Bob Lawson, 79, of Jacksonville passed away peacefully at the caring hands of the Little Rock Veterans Hospital early Sunday morning, May 7, 2017, in the company of loving family.
Bob was the son of Mavis and J.C. Lawson, one of five children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lois Havnier and Ruby Kret of Benton.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Edith Lawson of Jacksonville; son, Kurt Lawson (Vicki May) of Cabot; grandson, Jesse May (Olivia Hewghey) of Conway; three grandchildren; brother, Emmett Lawson of Benton; sister, Connie Hilton of Benton and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, May 15, 2017, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, with burial to follow at 12:00 P.M. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
