Bobbilyn was an accomplished pianist and singer. She played piano fulltime for several churches, including Levy Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She also sang in several choirs and was chosen to be in the Senior Choir and The Girls Trio at North Little Rock High School. She also wrote the music selected for the Episcopal Church Women’s hymn. “The Women’s Prayer” in 1980.

She served with distinction at several financial institutions including Worthen Bank and the former Federal Reserve Bank in Little Rock.
